Our Company
Who We Are
Why was TEAM MEDIC Formed?
Team Medic was established in 2011 to fill a crucial gap in the market for reliable and professional medical cover in the British American Football scene. Since then, we’ve rapidly expanded, leveraging our expertise to deliver exceptional medical services across various sporting events. Customers quickly recognised our commitment to proactive and high-quality care, and our reputation as a trusted medical service provider grew nationwide.
Today, this family-run business delivers comprehensive event medical cover across the UK, supporting sporting events, community gatherings, TV and film productions, corporate functions, and school festivals.
In 2017, Team Medic achieved registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), enabling us to provide non-emergency patient transport services and frontline emergency support for the NHS. Being CQC-registered ensures our clients receive services backed by rigorous standards, offering assurance in the quality of our governance, staff, processes, and medical equipment.
Our Team
Team Medic prioritises exceptional customer service, with our medical services being a natural extension of our dedication to delivering a positive client experience. Our mission is to create lasting relationships founded on integrity, honesty, and unwavering commitment to quality care.
Our experienced office team brings extensive expertise across key areas, including management, logistics and operations, pre- and post-hospital treatment, and compliance. This diverse knowledge enables us to deliver seamless, efficient, and professional medical services tailored to the needs of our clients.
We believe our strong reputation and trusted brand are a direct result of the dedication and support of our highly skilled and committed staff. Over the years, their efforts have been integral to building the reliability and professionalism that Team Medic is known for today.
Marion Palumbo, Managing Director and Registered Manager
What is your professional background?
I am the Managing Director, Registered Manager and one of the co-founders of Team Medic.
I have an engineering background, and initially worked for Emcor and First Engineering before joining Network Rail in 2007 as Maintenance Facilitator. I was promoted in 2009 to Facilities Delivery Manager, which was the first time a woman had ever held this position in theUK. In 2011 I was promoted again to a Station Manager of Cannon Street and London Bridge. A key achievement within this role was successfully facilitating transport logistics, which underpinned the success of the 2012 Olympic games. Within my professional career I’ve been responsible for compliance, managing complex teams and £40 million project budgets. The skills I developed in these roles have enabled me to learn how to make crucial judgement calls in a safety critical environment, on the front line, which I have utilised at Team Medic to help develop and grow the business.
What are your hobbies and interests?
I love travelling, swimming, athletics, surfing and yoga. I am also a qualified yoga teacher.

What do you enjoy the most about working for Team Medic?
I love the team that runs the business, they are dedicated, hard working and just generally great people to work with.

Fight on my men,
I am hurt, but I am not slain;
I’ll lay me down and bleed a-while,
And then I’ll rise and fight again”
